Necklace of red opaque glass beads

Necklace, opaque glass to resemble coral. 19th century, Venetian.

These beads could have been on a body, in a pocket or dropped at the market. They could have been decoratve or used  prayer beads. We have no idea, although they were quite deep in the soil layer and not strung, they were scattered about an gathered together by the archaeologist.
